They are located on Edelweiss Strasse, next to La Cabana restaurant. The grand opening will be on Memorial Weekend, but the restaurant will have a soft opening this week.

Saturday May 6th kicked off the 2017 WineFest at Habersham Winery in Helen, Ga.
The event lasted from 12 until nearly 4:30, when the day’s expected rains came.
Several dozen wineries from across Georgia brought over 60 wines for everyone to sample.
Tickets were $30/pp, which included 15 wine tickets and a complimentary glass.
Live music and the favorite hat contest were staples of the day, and many wineries sold out of their favorite wines by 4 pm.
Our favorites for the day were Currahee Winery’s Sunrise (a peach flavored muscadine with no added sugar), and Old Blue (a 23% proof muscadine and blueberry wine). Tied with them was newcomer to
the WineFest, Sweet Acre Farms from Alto, Georgia….Hall County’s first winery!! As they say on
their website (http://www.sweetacrefarms.com), “We do not add water, artificial flavorings, colorings, or concentrates to any of our fruit wines, nor do we filter. These are pure wines true to the fruit on the label; these are NOT grape wines with flavoring!” Our favorites were Sweet Ass Blackberry, and Sweet Nectarine.
